Guy Richer
Bass
After studying trombone and bass at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal and at Berklee School of Music de Boston, Guy Richer spent 15 years accompanying artists such as Renée Claude, Claude Gauthier, Raoul Duguay and the Séguins in Quebec, Europe, and even the Soviet Union.
For the next 12 years, while running an organic farm, he was also composing and arranging, particularly for vocal groups.
He has since returned to music fulltime, with a degree in jazz interpretation (bass) at the l'Université de Sherbrooke, and is active in many genres, including jazz, classical, blues, folk, song and theatre.
