« On Thursday, August 9th, much to our 'delight' we were treated to an evening of extra-ordinary blues. Toes tapping, fingers snapping, children dancing, young and old were all moving to the beat of the music. Each musician talented within his own right, but then when they blend their unique styles together, you have one of the best blues groups I have been privileged to hear. What a glorious way to end our summer concert series under the stars with Blues Delight, and that they were. Thank you all for a wonderful evening. Looking forward to next year. » |

"Last night we were treated to a superb evening of classic blues by Vincent Beaulne and Blues Delight. Their fine musicianship, and their obvious 'delight' in playing the blues together soon spread to the audience, and Vincent had everybody singing the responses to such great traditional blues as "How Long" and "Got My Mojo Working". Vincent is a very entertaining artist on his own, but when you add to his presence tight and intelligent drumming, a wonderful bass and some very sweet and controlled blues harp, it is a treat indeed. And if that were not enough, throw in the fabulous sound of a baritone sax! Wow!" |
